Selena Gomez has denied a rumor that her most recent song is about splitting up with her ex-boyfriend The Weeknd.

Selena Gomez has disputed that The Weeknd is the subject of her brand-new song, “Single Soon.”
The song is about planning how to break up with an ex, but the 31-year-old singer maintains it isn’t about the ‘Double Fantasy’ singer, whom she dated for 10 months between 2016 and 2017. She has also dated Justin Bieber, 29, and 30-year-old Zayn Malik.
Should I make the call? are among the lyrics. Should I tuck a quick note into his coat pocket? Perhaps I’ll just vanish. I’d prefer not to witness a tear. The weekend is quickly approaching.
“I know I’m a little high maintenance, but I’m worth a try,” she continues.
“May not provide a justification. We both had a great time; now it’s time to locate another. Put everything down to feeling young.
Selena Gomez commented, “Couldn’t be more false,” in response to Hollywood Life’s piece about how some of her followers thought it was directed at the 33-year-old “Idol” star.
Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat created “Single Soon,” which debuted on (25.08.23).
“Y’all have been asking for new music for a while,” Selena had teased the song on social media.
I wanted to release a cute little tune I created a while back that’s ideal for the end of summer because I’m not quite finished with SG3.
Selena Gomez stated she skipped “sad-girl songs” for her new music because she wanted to have some “fun” with it. It’s the first taste of her next album.
The number-one artist, whose most recent studio album was 2020’s “Rare,” claimed she is changing things up with the tone of her upcoming record.
In response to a question regarding the release of the single from her My Mind and Me Apple TV+ documentary, Selena Gomez said on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”: “That’s accurate. “Finally.”
I’m so used to creating sad-girl songs, the actress joked after she finished a recording session in New York.
But I’m eager to have a good time, and I think people will enjoy it.
