On Friday, 27 August, Indian motorcycle launched its new 2022 chief series starting at rupees 20.75 lakhs. The range comprises Chief Dark Horse, Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse, and Indian Super Chief Limited. Indian motorcycles first unveiled the Chief model in 1921.
Interested buyers can pre-book the motorcycle at a token price of rupees 3 lakhs. The delivery is expected to begin either at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2022.

All the 2021 Indian Chief motorcycles are powered by a 1890cc Thunder stroke 116 V-twin engine that churns out 162 Nm peak torque. This engine is available in the Vintage, Springfield, Roadmaster, and Chieftain models of bikes sold in India. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Features of the new Chief Range.
Bikes also include a 15-litre petrol tank, and it comes with a steel tube frame. They also include keyless ignition and all LED lightings. Moreover, all three bikes come equipped with three riding modes-Standard, Tour, and Sports as well as it comprises Cruise control as standard.
The Chief models also come with USB charge port 12 V charge port, bobbed rear fender, dual exhaust, rear cylinder deactivation, ABS, Pirelli Night Dragon tires, and keyless ignition. Besides these, the bike is also offered with a windshield and saddlebags. The bikes are powered by a 1,890 cc air-cooled engine and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).
The new bike model also features a 4-inch touchscreen that displays air temperature, map/navigation, clock, audio information display, and Bluetooth. All three bikes also feature a short wheelbase of 1626mm and a low seat height of 662mm.
On the other hand, Bobber Dark Horse pays tribute to the motorcycles of the World War II era. It features a muscular front end, a solo bobber seat, and bulky tires wrapped around spoke wheels.

These three models of the bike include Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark House, and Super Chief Limit. The starting price of the bikes starts from around Rs 20.75 lakh. There is a difference of about Rs 9 lakh between the Bobber Twenty and Vintage priced at Rs 16.20 lakh and Rs 25.80 lakh in India.
