According to PIT News, Gautam Buddha Nagar police stated that an online platform has been created to provide people hit by Coronavirus, essentials such as blood plasma, oxygen, meals, and free medical consultation.
Contact Information has been provided for specific needs. The contact for plasma request is 885106643, plasma donation is 9871696997 and for oxygen or meal requests is 9971009001.
This platform is a website named Swaasthsewa and has been launched as a joint initiative of the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police, KIET Group of Colleges, Om Foundation, and Young Indians.
The website will soon also launch provision for getting medical consultation from physicians, psychiatrists, and gynecologists as well
As of Monday, Uttar Pradesh has reported covid related deaths to be 285. According to the Government bulletin, Fresh cases of 9,391 have surfaced on the same day and the state’s infection tally has increased to 16,28,990. So far the total Covid-deaths in the state is 17.,817.
Coming to the total number of active cases in the state, it stands at 1,49,032. On Monday, the highest number of cases has been recorded at Gorakhpur with 542 people, followed by Lucknow with 517 cases, Sahanpur with 458, Gautam Buddh Nagar with 457, and finally Meerut with 452.
