The new Parliament building will be the location of the Special Session of Parliament, which runs from September 18–22.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi announced the government’s decision to convene a “special session of Parliament” from September 18 to 22, according to X (formerly known as Twitter). The meeting will likely take place in the new Parliament building and include five sittings.
The 13th session of the 17th Lok Sabha and the 261st session of the Rajya Sabha, which will consist of 5 sittings, are being summoned as a special session of Parliament. Looking forward to productive conversations and debate in Parliament amid Amrit Kaal,” Pralhad Joshi added.

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, a congressman and leader of the party, stated, “We have not yet gotten any information about it. The Center is controlling how the Parliament is run. What exigency arose that this session, which would have been the Winter Session, needed to be called?
I don’t know what the government’s plans are, he continued. Perhaps Narendra Modi, the prime minister, has plans to relocate to a new structure. He might wish to perform a Puja there or do anything unusual. Although we don’t know, this looks odd.
Regarding the Uniform Civil Code, Chowdhury responded, “A lot can happen, which is why the Center will try to deceive people and foster anxiety as the elections are approaching. Many contentious issues will be raised. To divert attention away from the important issues, they will engage in such behavior. The BJP will have a difficult time winning in five states. They employ these tactics for that reason.
This Special Session’s scheduling is important since it falls on the third meeting of the massive opposition group INDIA, which will take place in Mumbai.
